Post Christmas

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and is now planning for the New Year.
I will be planning January and February workshops and will post the dates in the New Year.
There is a new catalogue coming out and Sale-a-bration is around the corner as well.
Lots of exciting things to come.
Happy New Year all.

Wow - December 1!

I cannot believe it's December 1. Where did November go? Am I ready for Christmas? Not totally. I do have enough Christmas cards which I have been making lately - and Christmas tags. I have also been making gift card holders for my family - one of the perfect gifts so they can buy what they want. Check out my Flickr Stream to see some of them.

The holiday sale will be over tomorrow night, so if you want anything for yourself or for a gift, shop around and let me know what you want or need or put in an order online.

Also, I'm a bit late in posting the Weekly Deals but if you are into embossing, there is a beautiful embossing folder for sale. For cutting, I love the Floral Frames and if you like to colour in your images, the Regals Stampin' Write markers are available at a substantial savings.

Festive Flurries Class

The one sheet wonder technique is turning out to be my technique of the month. After making the set of autumn cards I had to make a set for winter and create my very first class since becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. This set uses the Festive Flurries stamp set and coordinating framelits, a bundle in the Holiday Catalogue (133285). The colours used were Whisper White, Night of Navy, Island Indigo and Soft Sky. I used quite a few rhinestones and Dazzling Details - I mean, snowflakes sparkle, don't they! See these up close here.

Autumns Cards

I created these cards using the one-sheet wonder technique at my upline's workshop. This was so much fun. The colours used blended so well to illustrate fall colours - Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso. Very Vanilla was used for the base stamping. The stamps used were Gently Falling, Gorgeous Grunge and Another Thank You photopolymer stamp set. For textures, we used embossing folders Woodgrain and Square Lattice. Punches: Small and Large Oval, Modern Label 1" and 1-1/4" circles. Embellishments: ribbons, baker's twine and glitter. We also used framelits, edgelits and the Autumn Accents Bigz Die that coordinates with the Gently Falling stamp set. See the individual cards here.
